Using Qualitative Research to Truly Connect with Your Audience


In last week’s post I talked about how marketing research helps businesses avoid the dreaded “crickets” that many businesses receive after not conducting the proper research; leading to missed opportunities, wasted resources, and ultimately a huge disconnect between your business and your audience.



Now, let's talk about qualitative research:


Qualitative research gives you the why behind your consumer’s behavior. It help’s businesses better understand what their customer’s feel, what their customer’s need, and what their customers expect. Through customer visits, focus groups, interviews, etc. businesses have a better opportunity to engage in real conversations, observe behaviors, and better understand the not so obvious factors that play big roles in their consumer’s decision-making process. This allows brands to refine their messaging, tailor their product or service to better fit their desired audience, and as a result build stronger relationships with their audience.
